The “Frozen Flat Trick“. I read GreenLiteBites’s blog entry about storing ground turkey (or any ground meat) in quart size ziploc bags and squishing them flat. Fabulous idea ~ because they thaw so much faster this way! So we went to Costco today and bought a 4-pack of ground turkey (and lots of other stuff) and ended up with 6 skinny one-pound packages that tuck nicely into one corner of our freezer.
