OK ~ I don’t normally buy any purses for myself. But I saw this cute little thing at Payless and it was screaming “Buy Me!” Maybe I can figure out a way to make another one in different fabrics ~ That will justify the cost of this one, right? (not that it was expensive by any means)

Finished! I really like how this Big Pleated Bag turned out. I learned two things in the process ~ how to make a fabric-covered button and how to use the buttonhole foot on my sewing machine. The bag’s a lot bigger than the ones I usually carry ~ and I’m torn between keeping it for myself (every girl needs one big bag, don’t they?) and putting it in the shop. I’ll probably keep it around for a while and look at it because I think it’s awfully pretty. 🙂
